Privacy
Your episode notes, checklist and verification log stay on your device. There is no account to create and no server-side copy to delete.
Short version: PodLaunch has no uploads, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts. Draft text and checklist state are saved in this browser only.
What is stored, and where
Three localStorage keys belong to this site. They never leave your browser through PodLaunch.
| Key | Contents | Written when |
|---|---|---|
podlaunch.draft.v1 | Episode number, title, guest, key points, links, call to action and tone | Shortly after you type (250 ms debounce) |
podlaunch.checklist.v1 | Checklist item ids, checked state and the time each was checked | When you tick or untick an item |
podlaunch.verification.v1 | The published URLs you paste and the time you mark each verified | When you type a URL or mark it verified |
“Clear saved draft” deletes the draft key. “Reset checklist” deletes the checklist key. You can also remove all three keys by clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings.
What PodLaunch does not do
- No file uploads. There is no file input.
- No accounts, sign-in or email collection.
- No analytics, tracking pixels, heatmaps or advertising.
- No third-party scripts, fonts, images or embeds.
- No requests with your episode text or links. URLs pasted into the log are never fetched.
- No cookies set by PodLaunch itself.
The page is static HTML, CSS and JavaScript served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver the page and protect the service. That happens before PodLaunch runs and is outside the tool's code.
Clipboard, downloads and print
The copy buttons write to your clipboard only when you activate them. The .txt download is created in memory from the visible blurbs. Printing uses your browser's print dialog. None of these actions send data anywhere.
Platform links
The FAQ links to YouTube Help, Spotify for Creators help, Apple Podcasts Connect help and the RSS 2.0 specification so you can check the character targets yourself. Following those links leaves PodLaunch and is subject to the destination's privacy policy.
