How PodLaunch works

One set of episode facts goes in. Four platform-shaped blurbs come out, alongside a checklist and a verification log. No model, no server, no account.

The five-minute launch

  1. Describe the episode once

Episode number, title, optional guest, three to five key points, links and a call to action. The form updates the output as you type.

  2. Copy the blurb for each destination

YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and RSS each get a version shaped for how that platform displays show notes. Copy one, or copy all four with their labels.

  3. Publish, then tick the checklist

Host upload, RSS, Spotify, Apple, YouTube, sharing and the site embed. Every tick records the time in this browser.

  4. Log the live URLs

Paste each published URL and mark it verified. The timestamp is stored locally so you can see what is actually live, not what you meant to publish.

  5. Download or print the launch sheet

The .txt download and the print view include all four blurbs. Print also includes the checklist and verification log for a paper trail.

What changes between platforms

The facts stay the same; the container changes. YouTube gets a search-friendly description with clear bullets. Spotify gets a compact description that fits its editor. Apple gets a prose summary in the show-notes style. RSS gets a neutral item description that any feed reader can display.

Spotify for Creators and RSS do not publish a firm character cap for episode descriptions. Rather than invent a number, PodLaunch uses a conservative 1,000-character target and labels ittypical limit, check the platform. If a platform later publishes a number, the target can be updated in one place.

What stays in your browser

The blurbs are generated with plain JavaScript from fixed templates. There is no request to a language model, no API key and no upload. Draft text, checklist times and verification timestamps live inlocalStorage for this site.

  • Refreshing the page restores your draft and checklist.
  • Clearing site data removes everything; there is no server copy.
  • “Clear saved draft” removes the episode text but keeps the checklist and log.
  • “Reset checklist” clears only the ticked items.
