About PodLaunch

Publishing one episode should not mean writing the same description four times.

PodLaunch is a free publishing launchpad for independent podcasters. It exists because a single episode has to be shaped for YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and an RSS item, each read in a different place and capped differently, and doing that by hand is where half-finished show notes come from.

The blurbs are assembled from your inputs with fixed templates: no model, no rewriting, nothing to guess at. Drafts, the checklist and the verification log live in your browser's local storage, so the tool still works with the network switched off after the page loads.

What does not happen: no uploads, no accounts, no email collection. The page loads no analytics or third-party scripts. Character targets are taken from each platform's own help pages and labelled when a platform publishes no number, rather than inventing one.

Found a limit that moved, or a blurb that reads badly? Get in touch.

Where the numbers come from: every character target is linked to its source and dated on the limits table. Two platforms publish no episode-description limit, so those use a conservative 1,000-character target and say so.
